This Privacy Policy describes how TrackAll and its suite of applications — SafeRide School, SafeRide Parents, TrackZen, TrackAll Fleet, Unity Indoor Wayfinder, and Nexus MDM — collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

Please read this policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using any TrackAll application, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our applications.

01 Information We Collect

We collect different types of information depending on the specific TrackAll product you use and how you interact with it. The categories of data we may collect include:

1.1 Account & Registration Information

  • Full name and display name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Organization or school name (for institutional accounts)
  • Username and encrypted password
  • Profile photo (optional)
  • Role and permissions within an organization

1.2 Location & GPS Data

  • Real-time GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude)
  • Speed, heading, and movement data
  • Trip routes and historical location trails
  • Geofence entry and exit events
  • Indoor positioning data (Unity Indoor Wayfinder only — no GPS used)
  • Location timestamps

1.3 Device Information

  • Device type, model, and manufacturer
  • Operating system version (Android / iOS)
  • Unique device identifiers (Device ID, IMEI where applicable)
  • IP address and network information
  • App version and crash reports
  • Battery level and connectivity status

1.4 Usage Data

  • Features accessed and frequency of use
  • Session duration and login history
  • Search queries within the application
  • In-app actions and event logs
  • Notification interactions

1.5 GPS Hardware Device Data (TrackAll Fleet)

  • Data transmitted from connected GPS hardware devices (2000+ supported models)
  • Vehicle identification information (VIN, license plate — if configured)
  • Ignition on/off events, door sensors, fuel levels (device-dependent)
  • OBD-II diagnostics data (where supported)

1.6 Remote Device Management Data (Nexus MDM)

  • Installed application list on managed devices
  • Device compliance and policy status
  • Remote command logs (lock, wipe, app install)
  • Device health and enrollment status

02 How We Use Your Data

We use collected information strictly to provide, operate, and improve our services. The table below maps our data uses to the relevant products:

We do not sell your data. TrackAll does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or location data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for commercial purposes.

03 Location Data — Special Notice

⚠ Sensitive Data Notice: Location data is the core function of most TrackAll products. We treat it with the highest level of care and apply strict access controls. Location data is only visible to authorized users within your account.

3.1 How Location is Collected

  • Via the TrackAll Android app installed on a smartphone or car infotainment unit
  • Via 2000+ supported GPS hardware devices connected to our platform
  • Via iOS and Android background location services (where permission is granted)
  • Via indoor positioning technology (Wi-Fi/BLE signals — for Unity Indoor Wayfinder, no GPS or cell data used)

3.2 Who Can See Location Data

  • SafeRide School: School administrators and authorized transport staff only
  • SafeRide Parents: The parent/guardian linked to the student's account only
  • TrackZen: Only members of your private family/friend circle who you have explicitly invited
  • TrackAll Fleet: Fleet managers and administrators within your organization account
  • Nexus MDM: The organization IT administrator managing the enrolled device

3.3 Background Location

Our tracking applications require background location access to provide continuous, real-time monitoring even when the app is not in the foreground. This permission is critical to the core functionality of the service. You will be explicitly prompted to grant this permission during setup.

3.4 Consent for Tracking

For personal tracking scenarios (TrackZen, SafeRide Parents), the device being tracked must have the application installed and location sharing actively enabled. Tracking cannot occur without the device user's knowledge and the app being properly configured on the tracked device.

04 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  1. Within Your Organization: Data is shared among authorized users within your own account — e.g., a school administrator seeing bus locations, or a fleet manager viewing vehicle positions.
  2. Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of TrackAll, our users, or the public.
  3. Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change via email or in-app notice.
  4. With Your Explicit Consent: We will share your data for any other purpose only with your explicit prior consent.
We never share your location data with advertisers. Location and tracking data is never used for targeted advertising or shared with ad networks under any circumstances.

05 Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

06 Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

  • All data transmissions are encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher (HTTPS)
  • Passwords are hashed and salted using modern cryptographic algorithms — never stored in plain text
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel using multi-factor authentication
  • Regular security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
  • Role-based access controls ensure users only see data they are authorized to access
  • Data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with physical and logical access controls
  • Incident response procedures are in place to address any potential data breaches promptly
No system is 100% secure. While we take robust security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to report any suspicious activity to us immediately at security@trackuall.com.

07 Children's Privacy

TrackAll products are designed for use by adults and organizations. However, SafeRide School and SafeRide Parents are specifically designed to help schools and parents ensure the safety of school-going children.

7.1 SafeRide — Student Data

  • Student location data is collected only through school-managed devices (buses) and authorized parent devices, not on the children's personal devices
  • Student profiles within SafeRide are created and managed by the educational institution, not by the children themselves
  • Parental consent is handled through the school's enrollment process
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13

7.2 General Applications

Our other applications — TrackZen, TrackAll Fleet, Unity Indoor Wayfinder, and Nexus MDM — are not directed at children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete such information.

08 Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Right to Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time by disabling location permissions or uninstalling the app
  • Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit how we use your data

8.1 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at privacy@trackuall.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may be asked to verify your identity before we process your request.

8.2 Opt-Out of Tracking

You can stop location tracking at any time by:

  • Revoking location permissions for the app in your device's system settings
  • Disabling location sharing within the app settings
  • Uninstalling the application from your device
  • Contacting your account administrator (for organizationally-managed devices)

09 Third-Party Services

Our applications may use or integrate with the following categories of third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policies:

We do not use any third-party advertising networks. Our applications are completely ad-free.

Our Android and iOS applications may request the following device permissions. We only request permissions necessary for core functionality:

You are always informed. Android and iOS will always prompt you before granting sensitive permissions. You can review and revoke permissions at any time in your device's Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Permissions.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Send an in-app notification or email to registered users for significant changes
  • Post a prominent notice within the application
  • For changes that materially affect how we handle children's data, we will seek renewed consent where required

Your continued use of our applications after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
